The lady teacher said to the class, "I want you to tell me who was the greatest man who ever lived. Whoever gives me the best answer gets a free meal at McDonald's."

She called on an Italian kid, who replied, "Columbus."

"Good answer," she said. She pointed to an Irish girl, who replied, "St. Patrick."

"Fine," the lady teacher said. "Now, Leroy, what do you say?"
"Martin Luther King," the black boy said.

The lady teacher said, "That's the best answer of all. I'll give one more try to Irving."

The kid stood up and said, "The greatest man who ever lived was Jesus Christ."

The lady teacher beamed, "I'm pleased, Irving. You win the coupon."

After class, a friend came up to Irving and asked him about his answer. Irving replied, "Actually, I think Moses was the greatest man who ever lived. But business is business."
